<p>An apparatus for guiding a traveling web of textile material is provided for guiding a web traveling in an apparatus for trimming selvedge from the web. The web guiding apparatus includes a device for supporting the traveling web during the feed of the web from a web conveying assembly to a severing location at which a selvedge is severed from the web. The support device includes an endless belt assembly having an endless belt traveling in an inclined direction with respect to the web travel path of the web conveying assembly. The web guiding apparatus further includes a support bar for supporting the web laterally inwardly of the endless belt.</p> |
