<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the sliding between a clamp means and a suspension strut at the time of assembling a suspension unit to a body by providing a following means which follows the downward displacement of the suspension strut on the clamp means thereof. CONSTITUTION:A following mechanism 84 which follows the downward displacement of a suspension strut 46 is provided on a clamp means 54 for clamping the suspension strut 46. As a result, at the time of assembling a suspension unit 4 to a body 12, even if the suspension unit 4 together with an axle 42 is displaced downward against the energizing force of the spring of an energizing means 52 because of the contact of the suspension unit 4 with the body 12, the clamping position of the clamp means 52 with respect to the suspension strut 46 can be kept unvaried. Hence, any nonconformity such as damaging the suspension strut 46 or causing failure to the clamping means 52 can be eliminated.</p> |
