PURPOSE:To make unnecessary the conventionally required read only memory by realizing rounding-up '1'/rounding-off '0' in the rounding-off of the last two digits of operation output data with a 1/4 multiplier. CONSTITUTION:From the three picture data of (a), (b) and (c), a mean value X=(a+2b+c)/4 is calculated. The data (b) is carried to 9 bits by a double multiplier 1. The data are added by an adder 2, 1 is further added, and the data become those at 10 bits. The data (c) are added to the data by an adder 3, and further, 1 is added. A result is inputted to a 1/4 multiplier 4, and the last two digits are rounded off. Since, 2 in total are added by the adders 2 and 3, and the rounding-off is executed by the 1/4 multiplier, the rounding-up '1'/rounding-off '0' can be realized. |
