PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a computer itself and to attain miniaturization, by storing a floppy disc driving unit, a controlling unit which controls this driving unit on a basis of instructions from an information processing device to which the driving unit is connected logically, and a DC power supply unit for the driving unit and the controlling unit in a portable case with a handle. CONSTITUTION:A floppy disc driving unit 1, a floppy disc controlling unit 23, and a DC power supply unit 6 are stored in a portable case 7. An input/output cable 11 to the computer is attached to the floppy disc driving unit 1, and an AC power input cord 22 is attached to the DC power supply unit 6. The DC power supply unit 6, the floppy disc driving unit 1, and the controlling unit 23 are connected mutually in the portable case 7 by DC power supply cords, and the AC power introduced from the cord 22 is converted to a DC power in the DC power supply unit 6 and is supplied to the floppy disc driving unit 1 and the controlling unit 23. |
