<p>PURPOSE:To detect abnormalities such as slips between a rolling roll and a rolled stock and perform elongation percentage control in constantly normal conditions by calculating a deviation in pulses at the inlet and outlet sides at the time of every timing signal. CONSTITUTION:A timing controller 4 counts output pulses from an inlet side sheet speed pulse generator 1 and outputs a timing signal when the number of the signals reaches a set value. A counter 3 counts up output signals from an outlet side sheet speed pulse generator 4. A deviation arithmetic unit 5 reads a counted value of the counter 3 at every time when a timing signal is inputted from a timing controller 4 and resets the controller 3 concurrently; the unit 5 outputs an elongation deviation value based on the counted value. A control output arithmetic unit 7 multiplies the elongation deviation value by a coefficient and outputs a correction command of a drafting position target value to a drafting point controller 17 of a rolling mill 11.</p> |
