<p>PURPOSE:To perform continuous elongation percentage control with high accu racy by generating a count timing command of a timing controller at a cycle in accordance with a target value of elongation percentage. CONSTITUTION:A 1st timing controller 1 counts output pulses from an inlet side sheet speed pulse generator 1 and outputs a timing signal when the number of the pulses reaches a set value to actuate a 2nd timing controller 12. After that, all timing controllers are actuated by the same manner. In an OR arithme tic circuit 7, timing commands are outputted to a counter 3 and a deviation arithmetic unit 4 at the same time when a timing command signal is outputted from any of timing controllers 11-20. The unit 4 reads a counting value in the counter 3 at respective times when a timing signal is inputted and concurrent ly resets the counter 3. The unit 4 calculates an elongation percentage deviation value based on the counted value and outputs the deviation value. A control output arithmetic unit 6 multiplies the elongation deviation value by a coefficient and outputs a correction command of a drafting position target value.</p> |
