PURPOSE:To contrive unification of an inmold coating layer thickness of a substrate surface of a molded product, by a method wherein a first SMC material is used for a part other than a flange part of the substrate of the molded product and a second SMC material whose shrinkage factor is higher than that of the first SMC material is used for the flange part. CONSTITUTION:A first SMC material 12 is put on the top 1a of a male mold 1 and a second SMC material 13 is put on a stepped part 6. In this instance, the SMC material 13 is prevented from falling down toward a stepped part 7 side by a stopper bar 10. Then the SMC materials 12, 13 are heated, pressurized by mold clamping of the male and female molds 1, 2, filled into a cavity 5 through softening and fluidization and a substrate 4 of a molded product is molded. In this instant, since a material apt to contract is used for a flange part 4a, a gap l1 is formed between the flange part 4a and the inside of the female mold 2. Then the female mold 2 is moved in a mold breaking direction and a gap l2 is formed between the substrate 4 of the molded product and the inside of the female mold 2 equally with the gap l1. Then when the gaps l1, l2 are filled with an inmold coating material 14, a molded product 17 having a coating layer 15 whose layer thickness is unified is obtained. |
