Novel organic compounds of the formula <IMAGE> where R1 and R2 are individually selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and alkyl(C1-C6); or R1 and R2 taken together are selected from the group consisting of <IMAGE> where n is an integer 3-6, <IMAGE> where m is an integer 3-6, and <IMAGE> and L is selected from the group consisting of -O-, -CH2-, <IMAGE> and >NR3 where R3 is alkyl(C1-C6) or -CH2CH2OH, which have antineoplastic activity, compositions containing the compounds and methods of using the compounds to treat tumors in mammals.
