<p>PURPOSE:To easily exchange an exposing means consisting of an LED array, etc., formed in a unit for an exposing means having different recording density by constituting the exposing means so that it can be attached and detached. CONSTITUTION:An LED array head 101 can be attached and detached along a sliding guide 104. Microswitches SW1 and SW2 are provided on a part where the end part of the head 101 is butted and the SW1 and the SW2 are constituted so that either of them is depressed according to the density of 400dot/inch and that of 300dot/inch. The on/off information of the SW1 and SW2 is transmitted from the HOST to a data memory M. Then, a data control circuit DCT switches the transmitting mode of data and performs the transmission of data corresponding to each recording dot density. Thus, the recording density can be easily switched by exchanging the head 101.</p> |
