PURPOSE:To provide a freeze-dried preparation of acetylcholine having improved stability, by containing the acethylcholine (salt) and an amino acid. CONSTITUTION:Acetylcholine or a salt thereof, an amino acid and, if desired additives such as saccharides are dissolved in an appropriate amount of water or a buffer solution, and the obtained solution is, if necessary, adjusted to the pH of a neutral region and sterilely filtered. The filtrate is dividedly poured into containers such as vials or ampules, freeze-dried by a conventional method and subsequently sealed with stoppers or melt-sealed to provide the objective preparation. As the amino acid alanine, valine, leucine, isoleucine, proline, etc., is preferably employed in an amount of 1-7times mol, preferably 2-6times mol, that of the acetylcholine. |
