PURPOSE:To eliminate the adherence of a recording dot image to a roller and to print and record in high quality by employing a semiconductor in heat generating means as a system for bringing a recording sheet into contact with the rear face of the image in a fixing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A recording dot image 105 is formed on a recording sheet 104 by a printer 106. Then, the sheet 104 is conveyed, and the image 105 passes under a fixing mechanism 101. In this case, a semiconductor heater 102 becomes a constant temperature state of 120 deg.C, a heat sink plate 103 is also raised to 120 deg.C, and the heat is conducted from the rear face of the sheet 104. The conducted heat warms the sheet 104 to arrive at the recording face of the sheet 104. The heat is further transferred to the image 105 on the recording face to melt wax component in the image 105 by the heat, ink is impregnated in the sheet 104 to be fixed, thereby obtaining completely fixed dots 104. |
