The device comprises a body (1) widened at least at one end, and appts. (7,8) for fastening it around at least a partially blank part (6) of the conductor (4). In the ends of the fitting track are formed widened parts (9) which when the conductor is fitted, locate coaxially with it (4). The widened parts have the shape of a blunt cone, and the dia. of their bases is greater than that of the base of the conductor (4). The insulation (5) on the conductor (4) is only removed from the part of it which touches the body part (1). U-shaped bolts (7) press against the stripped conductor area.
