PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy in a load torque and to simplify a structure, by using helical gears for gears of a gear box for generating a load and by providing a force motor which can move one of the helical gears in the axial direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:When a load torque instruction is inputted to a servo amplifier 16, an instruction current 17 enters a force motor 11 through an integrator 18 and a power amplifier 10, and the force motor 11 generates an axial force in proportion to the instruction current 17 and transmits same to a helical gear 8. When the helical gear 8 supported by a roller bearing 6 and a spline 5 moves in the axial direction, a helical gear 9 coupled thereto is rotated, and a circulating load torque is generated in a gear 1 to be tested. This load torque makes a round from a torque detector 4 and the spline 5 to the helical gear 8 through a circulation gear box 13, so as to form a circulation system. The amount of this circulating load torque is detected by the torque detector 4, a load torque signal 14 is fed back negatively to the servo amplifier 16, and thus the circulating load torque is generated accurately to be equal to an instruction value. |
