PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent magnetic core for pulse power having a high rectangular ratio concurrently a low iron loss and small temperature rise of the magnetic core at the working time by constituting by using an amorphous alloy to be expressed by a general formula (Fe1-xCox)100-z(Si1-yBy)z. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic core for pulse power is constituted using an amorphous alloy to be expressed by a general formula (Fe1-xCox)100-z(Si1-yBy)z. However, it shall be 0<=X<=0.3, 0.6<=Y<=0.9, 16<=Z<=27. Or, it is constituted by using an amorphous alloy to be expressed by a general formula [(Fe1-xCox)1-aNia)]100-z(Si1-yBy)z. Wherein, X, Y, Z shall be the same with the above and 0.2<=a<=0.5. Of the afore said alloy elements, Co is an element necessary for heightening a rectangular ratio and saturation magnetic flux density, while Si and B are the elements indispensable for getting amorphous and Ni has an effect on improving the rectangular ratio and on reducing an iron loss. Further, performing hear treatment in a magnetic field is desirable for obtaining the high rectangular ratio and the then temperature is desirably in the range from 100 deg.C to a temperature less than 10 deg.C of a Curie temperature of each component. |
