摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain a high density binder for molding ceramic having high strength and homogeneity by allowing carboxyl groups contained in a copolymer of unsatd. monomers to react with alkyleneimine and by neutralizing the copolymer with an acidic substance. CONSTITUTION:An unsatd. monomer contg. a carboxyl group such as (meth) acrylic acid is copolymerized with other polymerizable unsatd. monomer such as (meth)acrylamide. This copolymn. is preferably carried out by soln. polymn. at room temp.-about 200 deg.C with a solvent such as toluene. Carboxyl groups in the resulting polymer are allowed to react with alkyleneimine such as ethyleneimine to aminate the polymer. This amination reaction is carried out by mixing and stirring, e.g., at about 40-150 deg.C. The aminated polymer is neutralized with an acidic substance such as formic acid to obtain a high density binder for molding ceramic having high strength and homogeneity. |
