<p>Steel furniture has a thermally insulating one-or multilayer plastics coating of at least 0.1 mm. thickness. It is produced by applying plastics particles or a substances containing a plastics and converting it into a coating by heat treatment. Pref. P.V.C. varnish is applied as a 0.2 mm thick insulating layer which is baked at 180-190 degrees C and then a harder protective layer of a synthetic enamel is applied and baked at 160 degrees C.</p> |
