A reaping machine is mounted on the front of a tractor and its oscillating blade is driven from the power take-off shaft of the tractor. A vertical arm (4) mounted at the mid point of the reaper blades, separates the cut crop into two streams with each stream falling onto one of two conveyors mounted behind the blades. These conveyors are driven from the power take-off shaft and are inclined at 30 deg. to the horizontal and at 90 deg. to the direction of travel. The conveyors form the cut crop into two separate rows with the distance between teh rows being greater than the width of the tractor. USE - Harvesting crops such as rape.
