<p>A coating for sealing surfaces against moisture, in particular flat roofs, comprises an incompletely drying synthetic resin composition with a low drying agent content and possibly an increased pigment content. This composition is applied to a cleaned surface in a thickness sufficient to obtain a semi-viscous to viscous lower layer below a thin, flexible viscous dry layer. The synthetic resin is composed of a long-oil, low-viscosity alkyl resin based on dried fatty acids of vegetable origin. The coating is simple to manipulate and ensures a hermetic sealing of surfaces with long-term stability.</p> |
