The structure uses a number of support blocks (1) of variable composition and elasticity, arranged in staggered parallel rows on a support surface. The upper ends of the blocks support, wither directly or via intermediate raftersa (7), the floor surface (3). The rafters may be connected longitudinally to each other by metal joint plates, and may be spaced laterally by cross-bars (8). The cross-bars may be attached to the under surface of the floor panelling, and they and they rafters may be made of wood. USE - Flooring system of adjustable elasticity, e.g. for gymastics, martial arts or similar sports.
