OPTIMUM ADJUSTING METHOD IN NONLINEAR DISTORTION COMPENSATION

PURPOSE:To attain the adjustment of a nonlinear distortion compensating circuit with observation by inserting a narrow band removing filter in front of the nonlinear distortion compensating circuit so as to attenuate the central part of a transmitting band at a degree that inter-modulation distortion can be observed. CONSTITUTION:In front of a nonlinear distortion compensating circuit 20, a narrow band removing filter 30 is inserted so as to attenuate the central part of the transmitting band at the degree that the inter-modulation distortion can be observed. A real transmitting spectrum is inputted to this narrow band removing filter 30 and the nonlinear distortion compensating circuit 20 is adjusted so that the bottom of an attenuating part in the central part of the spectrum appearing in the output edge of a compensated system 10 goes to minimum.
