PURPOSE:To improve setting density and fogging resistance under high-speed printing by using a copolymer compounded with styrene and alkyl methacrylate or alkyl acrylate as at specific ratios as a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The binder resin which consists of 40-90wt.% styrene, 10-60wt.% alkyl methacrylate and/or alkyl acrylate and 0-40wt.% other copolymerizable monomers, is compounded and copolymerized to have 100wt.% total thereof and has 40-100 deg.C glass transition temp. is incorporated into the above toner. Methyl methacrylate, ethyl ethacrylate, propyl methacrylate, etc., are used as the alkyl methacrylate and alkyl acrylate. The setting density and fogging resistance under the high-speed printing are thereby improved. |
