<p>In a process for joint welding, in particular resistance welding, of small components, the parts to be welded together are pressed together by means of a transmission element (2) and welded together by the combined effect of heat and transmitted pressure. The heat and pressure are transmitted by a deformable transmission material (16 or 16, 21) which is acted on by the transmission element (2). The pressure-transmitting contact surface (15) between the deformed transmission material (16 or 16, 21) and the component (6) which serves as a mould is larger than the surface (14) at which the components (6, 7 or 6, 8) are welded together.</p> |
