A container (12) comprises a treatment space (14) for a material (16), below which a wind chamber (22) is arranged. The top of the wind chamber (22) is delimited by a circular rotor disk (42) which can be rotated about a vertical central axis (A). The wind chamber (22) has at least one opening (44) elongated approximately radially which admits a gas stream (50) from the wind chamber (22) into the treatment space (14). The rotor disk (42) is designed as a single partition between wind chamber (22) and treatment space (14). The opening(s) (44) in the rotor disk (42) is (are) associated with a seal which is open during normal operation but which can be closed when the installation is shut down. At least one stationary retaining lamella (98) arranged above the rotor disk (42) prevents the material on the rotor (40) from being entrained with the later. In each gas stream (50) passing through the openings (44), nozzles (76) for spraying the material (16) in the treatment space (14) are distributed radially and are entrained as the rotor (40) rotates. |
