PURPOSE: To prevent a crack of a cast molding due to contraction during a drying step by electrophoretically precipitating the inside of an electrode with a metal oxide. CONSTITUTION: A hollow electrode 1 has an electrically insulating cover 2 at an upper end in a slightly conical structure. One bar 3 protruding into a space of the electrode 1 through the cover 2 is used as an opposite electrode (cathode).α-aluminum oxide particles each having a diameter of 1μm or less are suspended in a liquid of an organic material, and a suspension having a relative permittivity of the liquid of 12 to 25 at 25 deg.C, a specific conductivity of 10<-7> to 10<-4> Scm, and an oxide weight ratio in the suspension of about 25 to 50% is filled in the hollow electrode, and steadily subjected to a decantation. Then, a polarity of a DC voltage source is selected, with the ceramic oxide used as a cast molding 6, and electrophoretically precipitated at an inside of the hollow electrode. The precipitated molding is removed from the electrode, dried in the air, and then sintered at 1500 to 1700 deg.C, thereby making the dense cast molding made of fine particles.
