PURPOSE: To form a partial color image almost free from fog by specifying the chloride content of a silver halide emulsion layer and a hardening agent in a recording layer. CONSTITUTION: A silver halide emulsion layer has >=95mol% chloride content, a blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer contains a nondiffusibleα- acylacetanilide type yellow coupler represented by formula I and combined with a polymer, and a layer of a recording material is hardened with a hardening agent represented by formula II. In the formula I, Y is an aliphatic or alkicyclic group, X is H or a group released during color coupling, R<1> is a 12-20C alkyl or shows combination with the structure of the polymer and R<2> is a 1-4C alkyl or shows combination with the structure of the polymer. In the formula II, each of R<3> and R<4> is an aryl or an aralkyl. A partial color image almost free from fog is formed.
