PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of an electric contact, to give the function of changing memory contents and to lengthen the life of an information medium by incorporating a battery in the information medium and using the modulation applied to a radio waves, light wave, sound wave etc. for giving and receiving information. CONSTITUTION:When an information medium 11 is brought near an external equipment in cardlike form, a signal from the external equipment is received by a receiving antenna 12. it is supposed that information such as instruction data, information data etc. of received waves from the external equipment are modulated by binary information. Received waves from the antenna 12 are added to a demodulator 14 through a receiving set 13, and contents of instruction and information data are decoded in a series of demodulated data by a decoder. Decoded data are stored in a memory 17, and when necessary, sent out from a transmitting antenna 20 through a controller 16 and a modulator 18. A battery 21 is incorporated in the information medium 11, and an electronic switch 22 is controlled basing on the result of decoding of the decoder 15. Electric power is supplied only to a necessary part and thus the life of the information medium is lengthened. |
