<p>A pipe-forming machine into which a strip is fed and is then curved around in a helical fashion to form a helical pipe, the machine comprising a plurality of pipe-forming rollers (21-26) that are rotatably positioned on the semicircular area of the outer side of a virtual cylinder having the same outer diameter as the helical pipe, and a plurality of flexible bands (30, 31) that are positioned to face the rollers so that the virtual cylinder can be formed by the rollers and the bands, wherein the strip is forced into the virtual cylinder so as to allow the strip to be curved around into a helical convolution, resulting in helical pipe.</p> |
