<p>Low-level radioactive wastes and the like are identified by composition and segregated based on specific contaminants identified. The separated wastes are subsequently encapsulated in a centrifugal process prior to disposal. The wastes advantageously are subjected to heat prior to classification in order to remove any volatiles and hydrocarbons present.</p> |
