PURPOSE: To detect such defect as lack of lead or bending by displacing a intruded body according to engagement with protruded lead, and detecting passing of light beam through an optical fiber in the intruded body according to the displacement. CONSTITUTION: Unless a lead 4 of a part 2 bends for insertion/communication through a hole of a circuit substrate 6, a pin 60 of a detection mechanism does not pressurize a piston 50. The piston 50 is reciprocated in a cylinder of a housing 10 by application of pressurization fluid to a fluid inlet 14 for advancement and to a fluid inlet 34 for receding. When a lead is omitted or bent, the light beam from a light emitting body 22 is guided to a light emitting body 20 by an optical fiber 56 attached in the piston 50, for re-orientation. |
