PURPOSE:To obtain an image having high image quality and stable density even when a recording head generates a change with the elapse of time, by sending a feedback signal to an energy variable means on the basis of the number of receiving papers and changing the energy applied to the recording head. CONSTITUTION:This printing apparatus consists of a transfer means, a control means, which is constituted of a counter for counting the signal from the transfer means each time when the transfer of one image is finished, a microcomputer recording the value of the counter and sending a feedback signal to an energy variable means and a backup power supply, and the energy variable means for receiving the feedback signal to change the energy applied to a head. The relation between the number of transfer tapers and the energy applied to the head is preliminarily stored in the microcomputer and the feedback signal is sent to the energy variable means corresponding to the number of the transfer papers. The energy variable means makes the voltage applied to the head linear corresponding to said signal. By this method, since transfer density is kept constant regardless of the change of the recording head with the elapse of time, a uniform image having high image quality can be obtained. |
