An improvement in clips of the kind intended for supporting electric cables, cables, conduits or like objects to a supporting surface comprises a stirrup-shaped carrier part and a fastener part which is effective in anchoring the clip to the support surface. Means are provided for guiding the fastener as it is anchored in the support surface, with the aid of a tool herefor. This guiding of the fastener is achieved in that the fastener (3) of the clip is drawn up in and held firmly to the stirrup-shaped carrier part (2) of the clip and in that the part (3b) of the fastener which extends inwardly from the carrier part forms a guide means for coaction with a hollow tubular guide device (13) on the tool, such as to guide the fastener as it is inserted into the support surface (4). |
