The shelves (2a) are fixed between two lateral uprights (1a,1b). The shelves are inclined at 45 deg. with respect to the horizontal and are in alternate directions. Each shelf has a raised edge (8), to hold the boots, which is in the form of an open channel. The uprights are fixed to a base (3) in which there is a fan (4) to give continuous ventilation. The air is blown through the uprights and pipes (5a,5b) in the channels. The bottom of one shelf is fixed near the top of the next shelf below it.
