<p>This invention relates to a piping connection part of a pump comprising a pump casing equipped with a piping connection flange characterized in that a flange body is fabricated from a steel sheet, the inner periphery forming a water passage is extended towards the casing body and welded to an outlet/inlet port of the casing body either directly or through a cylinder member, a plurality of bolt holes are bored on the flange surface of the flange body, an annular rib having a U-shaped section and a rectangular outer side is provided to project towards the casing body, bolt holes corresponding to the bolt holes described above are formed in the bottom of the U-shaped section of the annular rib, and a support plate having formed integrally therewith a rise surface which comes into contact with the back of the flange surface either inside, or both outside and inside the annular rib is fitted in such a manner as to come into contact with the back of the flange surface.</p> |
