<p>PURPOSE:To enable voltage non-linearity owned by a sintered body to be fully utilized by providing an ohmic Ni electrode with a main constituent of Ni by electroless plating on the sintered body with a main constituent of SrTiO3 and by providing a silver electrode with a main constituent of silver on it. CONSTITUTION:Ohmic Ni electrodes 3a, 3b, and 3c with a main constituent of Ni are provided on a sintered body 1 with a main constituent of SrTiO3 by electroless plating. Silver electrodes 4a, 4b, and 4c with a main constituent of silver are provided on the electrodes 3a, 3b, and 3c. Replacement of one part of Sr of SrTiO3 by one or a plurality of elements within Ca, Ba, and Mg becomes a main constituent of the sintered body 1. Then, the obtained electrodes 3a, 3b, and 3c are in ohmic contact with the sintered body 1 and the rectifying operation at the interface between the sintered body 1 and the electrodes 3a, 3b, and 3c is lost. It allows voltage non-linearity owned by the sintered body 1 itself to be fully utilized.</p> |
