<p>PURPOSE:To prevent nonuniformity in the winding of a tape by detecting the fluctuation quantity of the tape generated in a right-angled direction to a tape traveling direction at the time of rewinding and traveling the tape and driving either or both of a feeding reel and a take-up reel in the right-angled direction to the tape traveling direction correspondingly to the fluctuation quantity. CONSTITUTION:The vertical fluctuation value of the tape 10 from its reference height, which is generated when the tape 10 is rewound and traveled, is detected by a position detecting sensor 9, and at least a vertical driving actuator 3 provided for a feeding reel 1 is feedback-controlled based on the fluctuation value so that the height of the tape 10 can be returned to its normal height. Thus, even when a vertical positional fluctuation is generated in the tape 10 in a tape path at the time of rewinding the tape 10, the tape 10 can be rewound after the fluctuation is corrected by the feeding reel 1, and further, even when the nonuniformity exists in the winding of the tape 10, which is not completely removed at the time of traveling the tape 10, it is possible to control the feeding reel 1 so that the feeding reel 1 can return the state of the tape 10 having the nonuniformity to its normal state.</p> |
