<p>PURPOSE:To easily obtain refined good-quality beewax at low cost by selectively extracting and separating beewax from filtration activated carbon with supercritical carbon dioxide under the conditions of specified pressure and temp. and recovering it. CONSTITUTION:Filtration activated carbon is coarsely crashed and introduced into an extraction vessel 1 and gaseous carbon dioxide is sent from a gaseous carbon dioxide cylinder 3 and the air in an extraction solvent route 12 incorporating the extraction vessel 1 and a separation vessel 2 is discharged through a valve 10 and the air in the route 12 is substituted with gaseous carbon dioxide. In this state, respective valves, a compressor 4 and a heat exchanger 6, etc., are controlled so that extraction pressure in the extraction vessel 1 is regulated to critical pressure - 400kg/cm<2>, and to critical temp. - 120 deg.C, separation pressure in a separation tank 2 to 1-65kg/cm<2> and separation temp. to 25-100 deg.C. Thereby gaseous carbon dioxide becomes to a supercritical state and adsorbed beewax is extracted from activated carbon and extracted material and gaseous carbon dioxide are separated in the separation vessel 2.</p> |
