<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently clean air by providing an O3 generating part or O3 introducing part, a mixing part for the O3 and air, and a filter consisting of an alkaline component or a filter consisting of an O3 cleaning material or a filter integrally molded of both to the above air cleaner. CONSTITUTION:The O3 generated in the O3 generator 1 is released through the introducing pipe 2 to join with the air. The O3 and the air are mixed in the mixing part disposed with baffle plates zigzag. Malodorous components, NO2 and the unreacted O3 are thereafter removed from the mixture by the filter consisting of the compsn. formed by integrally molding the alkaline material such as Ca(OH)2 or CaCO2 on the O3 cleaning material such as active carbon or gamma-MnO2. The respectively separate provision of the filter consisting of the alkaline material and the filter consisting of the O3 cleaning material is equally well.</p> |
