A device is known for adjusting the air pressure in the tyres of vehicles, in particular of agricultural vehicles, in which device a pressure line which is connected to a compressor leads through the rigid axis of the vehicle to a compressed air transmission component which is attached to the inside of the wheel hub and from which a connecting line leads to the tyre. The compressed air transmission component consists of two concentric tubular sections with two annular seals. In order to ensure reduced sliding friction in comparison with the known device, thus a longer service life and simpler assembly, the compressed air transmission component according to the invention has an air chamber housing (40) which can be attached coaxially to the outside of the wheel hub (36) and from which a connecting line (62) leads to the tyre. The end of the pressure line (22) which is constructed preferably as a conical tip (72) leads with minimum friction into an axial hole (76) in the air chamber housing (40).
