PURPOSE:To shorten a scanning time by providing a waveform conversion part consisting of a holding circuit, an A/D converter, a trigger detecting circuit, and a delay circuit, and controlling the delay of a delay circuit by the sampling selecting means of a signal processing part as desired. CONSTITUTION:The waveform conversion part 30 consists of the trigger detecting circuit 30a, delay circuit 30b, A/D converter 30c, and holding circuit 30d. The circuit 30a detects a pulse outputted from a pulser receiver 18 to a probe 6 while inputting a set signal from the circuit 30d, and outputs its detection signal to the circuit 30b. Then the circuit 30b outputs a signal to the converter 30c a specific time after inputting the detection signal to put the converter 30c in an operation state with this signal. Then the converter 30c in the operation converts an ultrasonic wave received wave signal received by a receiver 18 into a digital value, which is stored in a memory 22 through a CPU 21. Here, the ultrasonic wave reflected wave signal form itself which is stored 22 is read out to perform high-accuracy flaw detection and also shorten the scanning time without interrupting the scanning. |
