PURPOSE:To suppress shock by increasing the slip quantity according to the acceleration state in the reacceleration from a deceleration region and reducing the engine output according to the increase, in the power plant for an automobile. CONSTITUTION:When an engine A is accelerated again by the stepping on of an accelerator pedal from the state where a lock-up clutch D slips in a prescribed slip quantity in the deceleration region of the engine A, a slip quantity increasing means G increases the slip quantity of the lock-up clutch D through a control means E according to the stepping-on quantity. Further, the output of the engine A is reduced according to the increase quantity by an engine output control means H. In this case, the increase quantity of the slip quantity is increased in the gentle acceleration in which the stepping-on quantity is small, and the reduction quantity of the engine output is increased in the sharp acceleration where the increase quantity is small. Therefore, the shock in the reacceleration can be suppressed, avoiding the deterioration of durability of the lock-up clutch and the reduction of the fuel consumption. |
