Transport system

The transport system comprises a rail network and a plurality of running carriages (3) which can be moved on the rail network in a computer-controlled manner. A pair of flat rails (5a, 5b) is provided, which alone receive the weight of a running carriage and transported article. A separate guide rail (14) arranged centrally in the neutral fibre is contacted by a guide roller (13a) and a drive roller (13b) of the carriage (3). For control of and current supply to the carriages, separate conductor rails (7a, 7b) are provided. <IMAGE>
