PURPOSE:To automatically reflect the variation corresponding to a commodity classification to an ordered quantity by providing a means to determine the ordered quantity based on a demand quantity predicted from the past demand quantity and the stock quantity of resources. CONSTITUTION:A means which stores special sales and the information of other shops to be the fluctuation conditions of the sales quantity for commodities as time sequential data, and a means which describes knowhow to predict the fluctuation quantity of the sales of the commodities from the data and the knowhow to diagnose whether or not the ordered quantity and the stock quantity are normal from the sales data of the commodity (POS data) and the stock data, are provided, a function to calculate the predicted data of the sales quantity from fluctuation conditions and a rule to predict the fluctuation quantity of the sales, and the sales at every commodity group and commodity are analyzed from the POS data and a diagnosis message is outputted to the commodity, whose ordered quantity and stock quantity are abnormal, out of the many commodities. Thus, the ordered quantity at every commodity corresponding to every shop condition can be determined and the stock quantity can be diagnosed. |
