PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in a frictional electrification property and a cleaning failure by allowing a toner to contain polyester obtained by bringing a monomer composite containing aliphatic dialcohol, etc., to polycondensation reaction, as a binding resin. CONSTITUTION:Polyester used as a toner binding resin is polyester obtained by bringing a monomer composite containing three pieces or more of polyvalent monomers, aromatic dicarboxylic acid and aliphatic dialcohol to polycondensation reaction. Especially, since the aliphatic dialcohol is used, flexibility of a molecular chain in polyester becomes satisfactory. Therefore, mechanical energy by stirring a developer, etc. is converted to kinetic energy of the molecular chain of polyester, a mechanical stress which a toner grain receives is relaxed, and a breakdown of the toner grain is prevented. Accordingly, the generation of fine powder caused by the binding resin of the toner grain is suppressed, and the deterioration of a frictional electrification property and a cleaning failure can be prevented. |
