PURPOSE:To prevent the overs and shorts or the bending of cutting in a band sawing machine during cutting machining by detecting the pressure at the time of lowering a saw blade housing, arithmetically processing a back component force based on the pressure and automatically carrying out cutting control. CONSTITUTION:At the time of carrying out the cutting of a workpiece W by means of a band sawing machine, first, an unloaded cutting is previously carried out to arithmetically process the moment of a saw blade housing 9 to a hinge pin 19. As a result, an actual back component force can be detected by detecting the pressure of a cylinder device 27 at the time of lowering the saw blade housing 9 by means of a pressure sensor 45 without being affected by the variation in the moment force of the saw blade housing 9 to the hinge pin 19 nor being affected by the deviation in the resistance of the hinge pin 19. Also, by arithmetically processing an actual partial cutting ratio from the back component force at the time of the actual cutting machining, a cutting quantity can be controlled so as to bring the actual partial cutting ratio close to a target value. |
