Flexibilized vinyl halide polymers and copolymers having improved flame retarding and smoke suppressing as well as physical and electrical properties are described. The compositions are characterized by a combination of ingredients comprising a vinyl halide base polymer flexibilized with chlorinated polyethylene, flame and/or smoke suppressants, stabilizers and plasticizers.
