PURPOSE:To realize a low-cost and high-reliable page turn-over device, by a method wherein a smoothly projected part is provided on a first guide correspondingly to an intermediate part of a page, which is to be turned over in booklets reaching a predetermined position. CONSTITUTION:A top end 1a of a page to be turned over in a passbook set on a page turn-over position is pressed down to a first guide 13 by a pressure roller 24. A part from a center 1b to a rear end 1c is set near to a second guide 12 by a projected part 20 formed on the first guide 13. A page turn-over roller 9 in contact with the passbook increases in height by being driven counterclockwise to press the rear end 1c of the passbook against the first guide 13. At this time, since the center 1b of the passbook remains as it is by the projected part 20 on the first guide 13, the passbook is warped in the shape of a bow to have an attitude for an easy passbook page turn-over. In this state, the page turn-over roller 9 is further rotated to turn over the page. |
