In order to treat the waste water produced during cleaning of a façade, the waste water is collected in a trough. After removal of the mechanical particulate impurities in a first container (14), the waste water is neutralized by controlled addition of a base (52) or an acid in a second container and then collected in a third container (58) from which it is released into the drains or recycled. The waste water is collected in a collapsible sheeting trough from which it is pumped by a feed pump through a mobile pipe (12) into the first container. The water overflows from the first container (14) into the second container (33) from which it overflows into the next container. All three containers, together with storage containers for an acid or a base (52), at least one pH meter, a dosing pump and electronic control and display means (76) are combined in a portable unit. In a second example of an embodiment, the portable unit also includes collecting containers and feed pumps for separating and deflocculating agents, or an oil trap, or an activated charcoal filter. |
