In a finished leather (13), the finish (14) consists of an inner layer (14a), which has been formed from a crosslinkable, preferably polyurethan-containing polymer dispersion and has a pore or foam structure, and of an outer layer (14b) which is attached to this inner layer (14a) and has a structured surface and which has been formed from a crosslinkable polymer dispersion or solution. At least one of the two layers (14a,14b) contains a reinforcing layer, for example a textile material or a fleece material. The dressed leather has a water vapour permeability of more than 0.3 mg/cm<2> h. |
