PURPOSE:To change ID information with a host CPU at the time of changing those except fundamental information, to hasten the access of data and to miniaturize respective devices by storing those except the fundamental ID information of a pass control device to rewrite the memory contents, into a card. CONSTITUTION:A non-contact ID card 3 having ID information to be unable to rewrite the memory contents is used for a pass control device and the ID information of a card 3 is discriminated by a card reader 2 based on the contents of the card 3. The data are transmitted between the card reader 2 and a host computer 1 and the contents of a RAM 3c of the card 3 are rewritten. Only the fundamental information of ID is stored into the computer 1 and RAMs 1c and 2c of the card reader 2 and attached information except the fundamental information is stored into the RAM 3c. ID discrimination is executed from the stored fundamental information and the attached information of the card 3 by the card reader 2 and the discrimination is executed by the instruction of the computer 1 at the time of changing the ID information except the fundamental information. |
