PURPOSE:To make the whole steering device simple and small-sized by providing a displacement transmitting means coupled with the output displacement member of a steering ratio variable means, the valve member of a hydraulic transfer valve and a steering rod and constituting this means with a lever member. CONSTITUTION:A steering ratio variable means 20 using a transmitting shaft 28 inputted with the steering force of a handle as an input shaft is provided, and it changes the absolute quantity and direction of the stroke displacement of an output displacement member 30 with the tilt angle when a sway shaft 40 is rotated centering axes l5 and l6 by the operation of a stepping motor 44. A displacement transmitting means 26 constituted of one vertical lever is operated in the direction to displace a spool 52 which is a valve member in the preset direction by the displacement of the output displacement member 30. The spool 52 is also operated to be displaced in the opposite direction to the above by the displacement of a rear wheel steering rod 24 generated by the displacement of the spool 52. The steering rod 24 is displaced by the displacement of the output displacement member 30, but the valve member is hardly displaced.
